Sample Review

As you know, with the new TOK specification changes for 2015, there is a mandatory ‘TOK Planning and Progress’ form which all students must complete and which outlines the minimum THREE ‘interactions’ which they are allowed to have with a teacher:

1. Verbal discussion of titles and choice of essay title (Go to the SOS Helpline or Online Tuition page)

2. Verbal discussion of general notes made on title & leading to a plan (Go to the SOS Helpline or Online Tuition page)

3. Handing in of final draft for general comments (See our Essentials Package)

Key points

The following documents will give you a very good idea of how we help you with the FINAL DRAFT of your TOK Essay.

The same procedure will be taken with a TOK Presentation script and an Extended Essay.

Key Notes

NOTE 1: You are allowed other VERBAL interactions in between steps 1 & 2 as well as between steps 2 & 3, but the only WRITTEN feedback you can get is for your final draft.

NOTE 2: The comments that we make are a general INDICATION of where the essay/presentation stands according to the new assessment criteria and are based on our years of experience reviewing such essays and working closely with the grading criteria. There is absolutely no guarantee that your work will achieve a specific level in the final examination.
